1. Information We Collect

From Customers: Name, phone number (WhatsApp), email address (optional), location (city and suburb), and service request details including project type, urgency, and preferences.

From Suppliers: Company name, contact person name, phone number, email, business address, service areas, categories, years in business, team size, and verification documents.

Automatically: Browser type, device information, IP address, pages visited, and referral source. This data is collected via standard analytics tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

  • Match customers with relevant suppliers
  • Share customer contact details with accepted suppliers
  • Process credit purchases and transactions
  • Send notifications via WhatsApp and email (lead confirmations, supplier matches, account updates)
  • Improve our platform and services
  • Prevent fraud and enforce our terms of service

3. Information Sharing

3.1. Customer to Supplier: When a supplier accepts a lead, they receive the customer's name, phone number, email (if provided), and location. This sharing is essential to the service.

3.2. Supplier Profile: Supplier company names and general information may be shown on the platform. We do not publicly display supplier personal contact details.

3.3. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

3.4. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics, payment processing) under strict data protection agreements.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase) with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized team members on a need-to-know basis.

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no system is 100% secure. We encourage users to protect their account credentials.

5. Data Retention

Customer lead data is retained for 12 months after submission, after which it is anonymized. Supplier account data is retained for the duration of the account plus 6 months after closure.

Transaction records are retained for 3 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations)
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

Tenda is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
